The Commonwealth of Massachusetts recently announced that it would seek to deploy open source software wherever it could reasonably perform the tasks needed by the Commonwealth. Officials also said they would prefer proprietary software that relies on open standards to those products that do not. OSAIA fully supports the Commonwealth in its policy. OSAIA's letter to Gov.
